TGO Nature Center Bicycling Destinations


Cross- Seminole Bikeway — 15 miles r/t

From TGO, drive 17.4 miles to Chuluota Rd (Rte 419)

Take right and continue for about 8 miles until you get to Oviedo Center.

Take right at 2nd set of lights (right by large Church on hill on right).

Pull into shopping plaza on right to park.

Bikeway is located next to Church.

Lunch facilities available along the ride (or bring lunch)


Peacock Road — dirt road

I-95 North to next exit (Rte 406 – Garden Street)

Go East and cross Rte 1 and continue over causeway bridge.

From bridge, 1.4 miles to Gator Creek Rd (across street from Pump House Rd).

Park alongside road

Can drop off vehicle further up the road (about 2 miles) if you do not want to ride the roadway back after completing the circuit.


Bio-lab Road — dirt road

-95 North to next exit (Rte 406) – Garden Street

Take right and continue past Rte 1 over the Causeway Bridge.

Rte 406 will bear left and go by Black Point Wildlife Drive.

When the road ends, take left on Rte 3.

Continue until you sign indicating Bio Lab road and boat ramp.

Turn right on Bio Lab and park straight ahead in boat ramp parking area.

Riding bikes, continue on bio lab road — it eventually connects to Canaveral Seashore entrance road to beach.


West Orange Trail Bikeway (Chapin Station Entrance)

Head West on Rte 50 to East-West Expressway (408).

Take expressway all the way to the Florida Turnpike.

Take it for just a bit and get off at the Rte 50 exit.

Go left on Rte 50.

Take right on 9th Street.

Go about 1-2 miles to Rte 438 (Plant Street), then take right.

Take left on Hennis Rd shortly after getting on Plant Street.

You will cross the trail and go past C&W Trucking.

Take 2nd right after trucking company to Crown Point Rd (turns into dirt road to Chapin Street and parking area).

You will be taking a left at crossroads.


Seminole/Wekiva Trail

I-95 North to Rte 46 (Mims exit)

Go left and continue on Rte 46 to Sanford.

Go straight on Rte 46A, past I-4, and take right on Orange Blvd.

Take 1st left on Markham Rd (continue on Markham to parking lot on left).


 Orlando Wetlands — dirt road

Head West on Rte 50 for about 10 miles.

Turn right on Fort Christmas Road (year-round Christmas tree on corner)

Shortly after passing Fort Christmas, turn right onto road to Orlando Wetland Park.

Continue until you see the parking area on the left.


Little Econ Greenway

From TGO, head West on Rte 50 for about 22 miles until you get to Rouse Road (2nd set of lights after Alafaya Trail).

Take a right and continue for 0.7 miles. The J. Blanchard Trail sign will be on the left.

Continue in to parking area.


Goldenrod Bikeway (29 miles)

From TGO, head west on Rte 50 until you get to Rt 551 (Goldenrod).

Turn right and drive until you get to Aloma.

Turn right on Aloma (Rte 426) and take your second right ?? (Goldenrod Rd).

On your left will be the entrance to Goldenrod County Park.

Heading East will go about 3 miles to an uncompleted end.

Heading West, it is approximately 6 miles to the end near the Fashion Square Mall on Rte 50.
