On January 10, 2015,  a small grey-phased screech owl was found sitting in a port on Plantation. We decided it had somehow flown into a wall.  The owl was put in a small box for several hours to see if it would recuperate. Upon opening the box, the owl silently flew off into the woods. It was nice to see another successful rescue. Thanks Sandy Juba for interrupting your chocolate making to rescue this cutie!
