March 12, 2016 proved to be a busy rescue day for TGO Nature Center volunteer, Sandy Juba. First she received a call about a baby Mourning Dove on Windsong. Then a baby Opossum was spotted in a trash can near the golf course. It must have fallen in and could not get out. Sandy took both babies to a wildlife rehabilitator. The Mourning Dove was a healthy baby so it should be alright. The Opossum had no  apparent injuries so Sandy relocated it to an area near the Orlando Wetlands. I’m sure these little ones would give Sandy a big Thank You if they could!
